For any clothing exporter to succeed, the most important thing is to get an understanding of the international markets. First and foremost, most of the countries have custom regulations without which products cannot enter the country. If these rules are not followed, then it will cost a lot to the exporter to pay fines. Well, there might be instances when the importing country is giving a chance to the exporter to correct the problem of wrongly marked goods. For example, in case of incorrect labelling, the exporter gets to send the right labels.

But the consequences of not labelling the goods are severe, when the exports are not allowed an entry in the importing country. An important advise for most of the exporters for not facing such situations is to tell the buyer in their export contract that they will have to be informed about any kind of such stipulations, labelling needs, inspections and any special documentation required. An exporter can follow such advice and reduce any loss caused to him due to wrong products.

The exporters should also be well aware of the business culture of the country to which they are sending the goods. There might be special rules and regulations also for a particular product’s export.
